Will Cinch slow down my store or break checkout?

Live bundle selection reads campaign data published in Shopify and does not make an app-server round trip. It still uses Shopify cart and product endpoints. Checkout validates pricing inside Shopify, and invalid campaign or cart hints receive regular pricing rather than an invented bundle adjustment.
