Privacy information

What Cinch stores—and what it does not.

This page records the data behavior verified in the application. It is not presented as a complete legal policy while required company details remain unconfigured.

Verified data boundary

Cinch does not store shopper, customer, or order records in its application database. Campaign source and runtime data live in Shopify.

Cinch stores Shopify app sessions for merchant administrators. Those sessions can contain merchant identity and access-token information. Small shop-scoped queue and lease records coordinate catalog refreshes and publishing.

Shopify processing

Live bundle settings are published into Shopify-owned surfaces. The storefront reads those settings, and Shopify validates pricing at checkout.

Compliance and catalog webhooks

The app registers Shopify privacy compliance webhooks. Product and collection change events can queue a campaign refresh; inventory events are not the source of that catalog refresh pipeline.

Uninstall cleanup

Uninstall handling deletes app sessions when available, queued republishes, publish leases, and cached paid-plan state. Storefront rendering and pricing stop when the app-owned surfaces are removed.

App-managed parent products can remain unless they are cleaned up before uninstall. Review and remove those products from Cinch Settings before uninstalling if you do not want them to survive.
